This group is an ongoing training and coaching group for working with the Narrative of Hope cards for therapists who are actually involved in long-term support of families of missing persons, abductees, and returnees in the cycles of vague trauma and its unique treatment phases.

The events of October 7 and the "Iron Swords" War created a complex reality of dealing with a unique trauma that has not been studied in Israel so far, and therapeutic experience is also limited. Veteran therapists from all over the country, trauma specialists, and long-term treatment experts in various approaches have come together for this unique therapeutic work since October 7. This group is an ongoing training and educational group for working with the Tikvah Narrative Cards for therapists who are actually engaged in long-term accompaniment of families of missing persons, abductees, and returnees in the circles of vague trauma and its unique treatment stages.

Description of the training group:

The training group will provide continuing education for therapists who engage in long-term treatment of trauma and absence cycles. The group will be accompanied by theoretical learning, practical tools and work models from the professional experience of the facilitators, and a direct connection to knowledge and experts around the world. The group is based on bringing a study case, in each session a different therapist brings a case for learning, each week through a learning protocol tailored to the topic. In addition, the group will meet for frontal training sessions.

Goals of the training group:

✓ Acquiring knowledge and professional language in the field of blunt trauma and frozen grief.

✓ Personal space for group support therapists.

✓ Training therapists in existing practice and models in accordance with their work in Israel for ongoing work in the field of blunt trauma.

About the lecturer:

Galit Itzhaki Dreizin, Jungian psychotherapist, MSW, criminal profiler. Has been working in the field of absences for over a decade both in Israel and in the therapeutic research arena worldwide, and is a therapist instructor in the Narrative of Hope cards.
